Cardigans never go out of style.
And we have such wonderful variety in yarns compared to 1962.
I'd love to see some completed projects.
If you have an arts, crafts, or needlework blog.....feel free to share a link. I think it's important that we share the old time skills with a new generation. Handmade will always be better than mass production.
Enjoy the pattern!
The history of nation is so amazing. I am passionate about preserving as much of it as I can. I hope I can inspire others to find an era, style, or area of interest. Dive deep and possibly incorporate a tiny snippet of that history into your modern life.

I know a lot of designs retro designs might not appeal to the modern day crowd, but this one is timeless. We are so lucky to have a much greater selection of yarns than they did in 1962. I'm sure there will be some beautiful creations from this pattern.

I enjoy sharing these vintage patterns and would love to see some finished projects. Please post a picture of your bag when you get it done. I'd love to see the color combinations y'all come up with.

1961 Five Point Star Bedspread ~ Crochet Pattern
I am trying to get as many of these vintage patterns online so a new generation can enjoy making them.
It would make me SO HAPPY to see some of these patterns actually made, so please post pictures of these projects actually completed! And if you sell your handmade creations online, feel free to post a link to your shop with your picture.
I am publishing these free of charge, but would be grateful for any amount donation to help offset the time it takes to get them scanned and published. Even donations as small as 50 cents can help. I still work full time and have kids in school, so this is a labor of love. Keeping the art of needlework alive and these vintage patterns working to create heirlooms.
Thank you and look forward to seeing some pictures!
