1959 Classified Advertisements. Guns. Guns. Guns.

So, with all the recent news regarding gun control, I wanted to share a piece of history.

I am a 2A advocate. I believe the constitution gives me the right to own a firearm.  I have gone through all the background checks.

But look how easy it was in 1959 to obtain a firearm.  The laws were less strict and there weren't as many shootings as we have today.  Why?  I am a believer that it's a heart problem and not a gun problem.  People are more angry, hostile, and there aren't the facilities for people with mental health issues like there were back in the day.  There are people that need help, and there are people that should be institutionalized until they are healed (if they can be healed).

These are all ads from the same 1959 magazine.

I do have the original magazine, so if you are interested in purchasing a particular page for framing, just let me know and I can facilitate.

Here we have Benjamins...

And a Browning....

A little German handgun (for sporting events & stage use)...

How about this good looking Webley that fires standard .38 S&W ammo...

And the KRUGER....appearance is amazing. Comes with 50 bullets.

And the famous Derringer. Full protection for the home, plinking on camping trips, ideal for women.

Can't forget the rifle...Marlin 336 carbine with mirco-power scope

I hope you enjoyed these ads.  Looking forward to sharing a new subject.
